One of the people who shaped Greek kids raised in the 80s is Nikos Pilavios and his famous "Chiliopodarousa" (1000legged insect) which ran in Greek TV for most of the 80s.
In it there was some truly avantgarde (ok, bizarre) storytelling: but if you were a kid at the time it was magic.
